English Mass in the Cathedral was celebrated by a lovely priest from County Cork in Ireland. Lining the walls are slips of papers with prayer requests by pilgrims. These are remembered at each Mass.
In addition to the Cathedral, there are some 31 churches in Santiago - one more beautiful than the other.
This was one of the more unusual crucifixes we saw in a church on the wY to Finasterra. Jesus has long real hair.
